Bachelor's degree (in finance or accounting preferred)
Expertise in preparation of the VAT declarations
Strong knowledge of the Romanian legislation & up to date with all the changes
1-2 years of experience in accounting
Proficient with Accounting Systems (SAGA) and Microsoft Excel
Fluency in English (written and verbal communication).
Nice to have:
Experience in software/development company helpful but not required
Knowledge of IFRS
What Should You Expect?
You will help to manage all aspects of our finance & accounting practices in Bucharest and our Barcelona, Spain locations. The position will work closely with the US-based finance team.
Your role will include:
Process all vendor invoices and ensure timely payment
Review and process Travel Expense reports
Maintain General Ledger including Trial Balance, P&L and Balance Sheet
Monthly inter-company invoices
Maintain/Track Fixed assets, including depreciation
Prepare VAT journals
Prepare financial reports as required – both internal and to the group
Assist outside payroll firm when needed
Perform other duties as assigned.
